Walk2Fit exists for one reason: to get the best walking science out of research journals and into the hands of women who need it — completely free.

The evidence for walking as a weight loss and health tool is overwhelming. Hundreds of well-designed studies confirm that regular brisk walking reduces belly fat, lowers blood pressure, improves mood, protects bone density, and helps women maintain a healthy weight long-term.

Yet most of that research stays locked in academic journals, filtered through generic advice like "just move more." Walk2Fit turns it into practical, week-by-week programs that work in the real world — for real women with busy lives, joint pain, self-consciousness, and everything else that makes the gym feel impossible.
